Amazon is a great company with many services and features. Each one of those different features were developed and designed for a distinct reason. Although Amazon is trying to solve problems and make it easier for sellers to reach their customers, they have also done a good job making things more complicated. They have created so many different options that unless you know how to navigate it you will feel overwhelmed and will spend valuable time trying to figure it out. 

GENERATING AMAZON REVIEWS

​Generating honest Amazon reviews is one of the most important and sometimes most difficult things to do as a seller on Amazon. Over 70% of Americans say they look at product reviews before they make a purchase. So it is extremely important to have reviews for your item. If you are looking to make a purchase on Amazon and you see a product with only 1 or 2 reviews, you will most likely purchase a different product with more reviews.

The issue and struggle with selling a brand new product on Amazon is starting with zero reviews. If you have zero reviews it is very difficult to generate sales and establish trust from the customer. This problem is a very common problem that frustrates every seller and usually leads to the following two questions. How do you generate sales if you don't have any reviews? How can you generate reviews without sales? Generating product reviews will help ensure your products success over the long term. As long as those reviews are honest reviews and the product is a "good" product you will be well on your way to thriving  in the ultra competitive Amazon market.

Post Purchase Engagement
After a customer completes a purchase on Amazon, engaging with that customer to encourage a product review is extremely important. A very small percentage of customers take the time to leave product reviews after a purchase. Generating sales is almost always your top priority, but getting a customer to write a review (hopefully positive) after a purchase is what will help drive your sales ranking and encourage others to purchase your product.
