Spend $3.5 BILLION in ad business in 2017. According to BMO Capital, Amazon's ad business will continue to grow 63% and spend $5.7 billion next year. To put things in perspective, the entire TV industry spends around $70 billion per year in advertising. Thats the ENTIRE TV industry. Amazon alone is going to be spending almost $6 billion next year. Amazon is spending more and more money to drive customers to their website. This is why whenever you search for a product on Google the first few links are usually an Amazon product link.
