Amazon has almost infiltrated it's way into every home in the United States. Amazon Prime Subscription is a service that costs $99 per year and allows its members to receive free 2-day shipping on all Amazon Prime products plus added benefits of unlimited streaming of Prime video content, unlimited photo storage, music streaming and much more. Amazon does not release the exact number of Prime users it currently has so these numbers are based on the market research firm Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP). According to CIRP Amazon Prime membership has reportedly reached 80 million members. This is up 38% from the previous year and has doubled from 2015. The US has roughly 125 million households, so if there are 80 million households with prime that means nearly 2/3rds of all homes in the United States have access to Amazon Prime.
