According BloomReach, last year 44 percent of US consumers began searching for product on Amazon. New data reported by BMO Capital puts that number as high as 55 percent.
Yup, you guessed it. Based on a recent study conducted by the research firm Slice Intelligence. U.S. Shoppers aged 18-34 years old (Millennials) use Amazon to buy more clothes than any other retailer.
Just about 17% of all millennial online clothing sales in 2016 was completed on Amazon.com. The next closest retailer was Nordstrom's at 8%. Every year more customers are looking to Amazon to complete their online purchase. Customers are growing more accustomed to starting their sales research on Amazon and taking advantage of Amazons free 2 day shipping for prime products. This trend continued this past "Cyber Weekend", as Amazon accounted for over 30% of all online sales.
